Libération est un journal d’informations générales créé, en juillet 1998. Il a 22 ans d’existence, au service des populations. Il est animé par une équipe de professionnels. Les plus hautes autorités, du pays, ont reconnu ses efforts, et l’ont décoré en décembre 2019. Le journal a reçu la médaille de Chevalier de l’ordre de mérite des Arts, des Lettres et de la communication avec Agrafe : Presse écrite.

Le siège de Libération est, à Bobo-Dioulasso, la 2^ème ville et capitale économique du Burkina Faso, sur l’immeuble Balima Lamoussa, côté Est du grand marché.
